New Family Artist

The family artistic talent has hit the next generation.  Saige Marie Madden, a fourteen year old freshman at Santa Catalina High School in Monterey had her pen and ink drawing, Melanie Martinez, chosen for inclusion at a showing in a Carmel gallery.

 but my favorite is the bird........

Keep an eye out.....if she doesn't wow you with her impressive art she'll wow you with her volleyball game!!!!!

Fun Finds

Another fun Madden blog is that of Cartoonist and Author Matt Madden.  Unfortunately the last post to Matt Madden's Blog was in Feb of 2014, but it is worth a few minutes to see what is there.  Matt's profile on Google + states he lives in Paris and attended University of Texas at Austin.  Check out his cool 20 lines project!
