For years researchers suggested that Elinor ( ) Keenon was born and Montague and that the mother of John Haffey was her sister. DNA connections now show that John Haffey's mother was Alice McArtle and they were in South Armagh, not South Tyrone. It seems unlikely they were related but not impossible.
In fact, I have not seen a single record that gives the name Montague to Elinor. In addition to date there have been no DNA matches that might lead to that conclusion. So I include this Montague page here only as a suggestion. If you find the page and you have proof, please let me know.
